Route One Recruitment is working closely with an independent school based in Nottingham. Due to continued growth and on going success they are now looking to recruit an IT Support Technician / Helpdesk Technician to join their IT department.
As an IT Support Technician / Helpdesk Technician your main responsibility is to provide 1st line support to both Teachers and Students when required. Our client is also looking for someone who has the ability to maintain their hardware and develop their software/online resources.
To be considered for this role it is essential you have at least one years proven experience in an IT support / helpdesk role. A good understanding of networking, hardware and software is also crucial. Any relevant IT qualifications/certifications would be advantageous but not essential.
Our client’s ideal candidate will be a dynamic and confident communicator (both written and verbally) who is committed to helping others.
In return, our client is looking to offer a basic salary of £17,000 – £20,000 as well as on going support and training – our client are also well known for offering lots of opportunities to develop and progress your career.
